update on world of warplanes

im trying to play the game, but can not connect. it says : new version of the game client is available. please start update--- (i thought it updated automatically, if not, i would really be grateful if anybody would know the answer to this)

I have issue with files after the update (even when it says "update was successful")
When I run GameCheck Tool I had message "Your game client doesn't coincide with the etalon." so I had to uninstall and install again from Steam.
Now it works fine.

I thought that tool will be useful for future troubleshooting.

Alternatively, you can run an installation verification in steam by opening the game properties -> Installed files -> Verify integrity of game files.

I've done it verification in steam as you're saying in first place but no luck as the integrity verification it came back with no errors.
So I had to raise the ticket with Wargaming.net and I thought I will share as more people start getting the issue after the last update.
Maybe checking the integration of files will fix the issue but if it doesn't then run the GameCheck Report Tool to see where the problem is.

I think the game is being updated on Steam in order to avoid this.
What I had to do was download the update EVERY TIME I wanted to play the game.

So, I think the update today (from maintenance) will get rid of this
