Game crashes as soon as battle starts

For the past two days the game crashes as soon as a battle starts. I updated all drivers, validated my game installation and then uninstalled and reinstalled the game, no go. Anyone know how to get around this?

Okay this kinda stupid but just because Nvidia overlay causing crash when entering battle

Folks, UNINSTALL the game from STEAM. Run the game by itself, INDEPENDENT of STEAM.
This has been going on for a month. The problem is steam. NONE of my friends who play this game , independent of STEAM, none of them have this problem.

Please run the game INDEPENDENT of STEAM. If you have purchased the game whether through STEAM or not, you can run the game WITHOUT STEAM.
Install the game directly from Wargaming.

Do not run the game using STEAM.

Once you do this the problem will be gone

You should/may be able to fix this issue by launching the game directly via the executable. Instead of pressing play on the game within Steam, try navigating to this spot with your file explorer:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\World of Warplanes\
Then find the application/executable for the game and double click that file to open the game. Fixed the crashing issue for me. Good luck!

Same Issues - removed Unicode UTF - updated drivers and made sure windows had not disable AMD drivers - Checked for Nhamic files (none) - Tried to load it up outside of steam by .exe file - None of this works!

For a period of 2 hours yesterday it worked - I'd done nothing.

Today it does not work - I have again tried everything including disabling Nvidia for this game alone.

People are saying it works from the WarGames launcher. IMHO - if it doesn't work while launched from Steam, it should be delisted from Steam. Simple as that.

I believe I've isolated the issue for myself, at least... Disable and/or remove Game Bar. GB doesn't have any effect I've noticed on any other game but it is the sole cause of crashing out WoWp for myself (Wind11, Asus TUF).

Lack of support for ASUS graphics card manufacturer drivers is a manufacturing defect in the product . The game is free premium account , gold paid .
EU law : “removal of defect ].§ 1. If the sold thing has a defect, the buyer may demand to replace the thing with a defect-free one or remove the defect. § 2. The seller shall be obliged to replace the defective thing with a defect-free one or remove the defect within a reasonable time without undue inconvenience for the buyer.

FURTHER NOTE planes in the standard configuration do not cause a problem . From Elite they spoil the game client - I have to disable the graphics card drivers . It appears that not only is WG selling gold for a faulty game , they are making money from planes spoiling the game .

Disable game bar seems to have finally fixed my game crashing. Thanks
