Only 3 reviews?
Is this game not being advertised or played much on Youtube?

Not yet, we are trying to push and update first, we should have it all going by the end of the day. Then we will start advertising

At this stage it would be a shame to punish this wonderful game, as it's still fairly early on in the development stage and a lot of people will get a false impression. I think it would be better to wait for a few more updates until we put it through the grinder, don't we think?
After all, there are so many games out there that are still in EA for years, that are loaded full of bugs and flaws!
But saying that, I am enjoying the game so far and I am certain the developers will continue to enhance and refine this wonderful gem!

my opinion as well. Graphics are nice for me. Runs smooth, no crashes. Im struck in progression because of a bug, but dont want to make the game bad. Isnt there a saying like, never play on release day? my fault then ;)

Guess, i´ll wait for a patch .

only played 13hrs plus game in early stages , no doubt the reviews will come once players happy to give feed back ....gamers can be cruel...... want everthing here and now .............

if you take the game for what it is now............ were its going to end up then its fine by me.

but if you want different kind of survival then this game for you.

but if you want same as the rest on steam.........................best look else were. imho.

i dont get paid for doing reviews, so why should i? most reviews on steam are written by people with less than 2 hours time ingame, so why should anyone care about their opinion?

Because the number of reviews a game gets is an indicator of how popular that game is. You wouldn't buy a month old game with only 2-3 reviews would you?

So if we all thought the same way you do, then the video game industry would collapse after a few months, but anyway, the game has mainly received a very positive reception. In my opinion BUG OUT, is was one of my favorite games, based on the Developers attitude and the community involved. I have played a lot games in EA and honestly this one which has impressed me so much. I am honest and will say that it has a long way to go before it's finished, but this is obvious and there is nothing to indicate that the developer's are misleading anyone. I have been mislead by shoddy Dev's in the past and it's such a refreshing change to be part of the community and help shape this wonderful game into something we all can one day enjoy and be proud of.

Finally, just because there aren't many reviews doesn't mean that it's not a good game. Just means people are obviously too wary these days, because they have been let down too often in the past.

Uhh, other EA games like this have gotten 1000+ reviews or more in the same timeframe.

Look! Honestly, you have completely missed my point entirely! I will not be discussing with you any further. I am too busy! Some us have other priorities in life than debating about whether or not a game is worth buying or not! I spend more money on coffee every week than this game. So if you cant appreciate the work that has gone into this then dont buy it! It sounds like you cant afford it, so just save your pennies!

Just bought this today and have played for just over an hour so far. No review from me yet but my 2 cents on the number of reviews is who cares? If it interests you buy it if not move on.

I should say in my brief exposure I'm liking it. Finding resources I'm sure will get easier the longer I play just like it does in a lot of games that require the gathering of resources.
I would like to say on the subject of reviews i seldom pay attention to any review by a poster with less that 20 to 30 hours playing and this game is in a truely niche market without all the zombies running around (yet) a lot of the survival sandbox folks wont even take a peek so i play and try to follow up with the devs on discord but right now i haven't formed a solid opinion (publishable) i love the quiet time in the woods it takes me way back to when i used to backpack into the mountains so i will let the devs work and maybe throw a suggestion here and there but for now happy surviving :)

Still?
Bilbo Laggin Oct 16, 2018 @ 10:53am
Can someone explain the problem, please ? If you're interested, give it a try - and if you don't like it, refund it within 2hrs of playtime. So I don't get it here - what's the point of this thread ? It's a singleplayer game, so why is it necessary to see how "popular" the game is ?

lol i think you might be late to the party on this one but its important for people to ask these questions for games they might be interested in not your position to say whether the thread can exist or not.
