This game, Reborn, is dead. Here's why.

Reborn is a Unity game originally developed by Knife entertainment but if you've kept this game on your wishlist, now is the time to remove it. Here's why you should:

A. Knife Entertainment hasn't updated their Reborn sub-page, their Reborn Facebook page, or their Reborn Steam page, since *2018*. It's been almost a year and a half since word from the developers concerning this game. That's almost 50% of the time over their game development period.

B. Reborn missed its release date by almost a full calendar year, with no additional adjustment period/date announced by the game developers.

But here's where things get REALLY interesting.

C. Knife development creates game assets for the Unity engine. Reborn was built on the Unity engine. The Reborn trailer clearly shows the protagonist using a snub-nosed revolver, moving through an area with mannequins and through a graveyard. In fact, the trailer shows multiple scenes from those two areas.

If you go to the Unity store, you'll see that Knife development/ent is *currently* selling the same hands used in the trailer to Reborn. The same revolver is also shown. But it gets better because in the video trailer for the "FPS Hands" on the Unity store, the trailer clearly shows the character moving through the *same room* with candles/mannequins and dodging a flaming barrel outside the *same cemetery wall* both shown in the Reborn trailer.

If you continue to move along Knife development/ent's assets for sale in the Unity store, you'll see chunks of Reborn shown/for sale in the Unity store.

So the question becomes: "Why would Knife sell the very same assets modified/or complete that are in their unreleased FPS shooter, for people to use in other FPS titles, if they intended to release their game?"

The answer is: They wouldn't. Somewhere, along the way, Knife suffered some kind of directorial or operational change, decided to postpone/cancel Reborn indefinitely and then cut up the game and sell it piecemeal on the Unity store.

The game is dead folks and none of us will ever see it.

Thanks for investigating the case, it's so sad and the inability for the developers to communicate with us it's downright outrageous. These kind of developers obviously don't care about broken promises and a dissillusioned fanbase. What a shame.
