As a company who prides itself on using a highly transparent system in regard to payments, please allow me say a few words on this subject.
All our games - there is no exception here - can be played for free. You are not obligated to make any payments by registering for our games. However, as you may understand yourself, without some source of revenue, it would be impossible for us to develop, provide, maintain and support a complex and thought-out game such as My Little Farmies, with hundreds of thousands of players actively playing.
We therefore enable those of our players who are interested in unlocking special features, to do so in exchange for real money. They will, however, have to actually use the services of our payment providers to receive those extras. That means it is entirely impossible to accidentally purchase gold bars, if you haven't planned to carry out the payment in the first place.
We also don't offer subscriptions, so even if a player has chosen to buy gold bars once, this doesn't matter that the money will be debited from their account each month. Every payment is a one-time payment - if you don't wish to make another one, that is entirely your choice. The animals, items and expansions purchased with gold bars, will of course remain valid - with the exception of the premium-status that allows you to unlock certain perks.
More than 90% of our players play entirely for free, only a small amount of players actually use our payment services. Plus, we enable our players to even gain items that would normally cost them gold bars by collecting them via card-pieces, and via the daily free boosters. Almost every building or animal can be obtained by swapping card-pieces in the game.
So, as you can see, our system is both transparent as well as fair - to our paying, as well as our non-paying users, and it is entirely possible to enjoy each and every single one of our games without spending anything on it at all - however, as you may understand - and please understand this just as an example - you cannot have a big estate for nothing. So if you want to have a large farm with an equally large amount of different buildings, then you may understand, that this does not, and cannot come for free.
However, as stated before - to enjoy this game, this is far from necessary; you can play and enjoy the game even with a smaller size farm, and can collect and trade items that are otherwise only available for gold bars as card pieces with other players.
Feel free to keep trying out this or any of our other games - we are certain you will be able to enjoy all of them without making further payments.
first of all thanks for your answer.
As i mentioned i have already played different F2P games and know how they work. Half of your post describing the theory behind it like an advertisement, was not neccessary and would be better spent actually answering my question(s) but thanks anyway for taking the time.
As i mentioned as well i dont mind spending some cash occasionally but not when its like a bottomless pit. As i said i have the 8th farm expansion which is (as there are at least 21 possible) far far far far far far away from a "big estate" as you said. Even just the next expansion cost 240 gold - not speaking of the 10 after. And farm expansions are not possible to gain through card-pieces (as well as building upgrades) - but not surpising that you dont mention it at any point.
As i mentioned further which is bothers me is that you discriminates steam players by dont give them the same (or at least similar) chances to gain gold bars as players from other plattforms. Which is absolutly (and it seems to be your most favorit word) NOT FAIR.
Even though you dont answer the big question in the thread name i assume from your answer there will be no further ways for steam player to gain more gold bars.
So thanks again for taking time for writing a looooooooong answer without answer ANY of the questions. Makes my decision easier.
BR
Have an absolutely lovely day.
hope you understand German.
When playing via Homepage you can earn gold by watching videos (10 videos = 1 Gold). As far as i know this possibility is not available when playing via steam.
never seen never heard of this for the gold. and instead of canceling Koyotl which is the only reason i registered with the Upjers, develop your older games, the people are leaving the premises , its practically a ghost town, because its so impossible for F2Players to progress AT ALL!!
