A hidden object focused game with an occasional spot the differences puzzles. The game consists of 19 stages with nine different music tracks, the story based on 20,000 Leagues under the Sea novel where we followed Pierre Aronnax to discover a sea monster. The dialogues are too short and only before starting each stage, but if you want to read the prologue you'll have to click on the information on the main screen. Unfortunately, there are no voice overs, all that you do is finishing the stage and jump to the next.

The game is short if you don't farm for the achievements which require you to not use the hints, and not to misclick in five stages. The other achievement is taking the maximum score in five stages, this one requires a bit of work because each time you finish a stage it will tell you that there are 20 more items to discover. The more you play the more you discover the items which are randomly written for you. It took me an hour to get all the achievements.

I found the game casual and relaxing, it is also a good one to choose for some family time with your kids.

Hidden Object Adventure: Captain Nemo:

Jules Verne has written extraordinary stories during his life and one of them is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. In this story, he created what is probably one of his most famous characters of all time, Captain Nemo. And here we are, reliving one of the passages of this great novel with Captain Nemo.

Captain Nemo is a hidden object / adventure game where you follow the story of the professor Arronax, his helper Conseil, and Ned Land.

I am always on the lookout for Hidden Object games. Crisp App Studios has become one of my favourite developers in this genre. In their latest game, Captain Nemo, the standard is as sharp as it can be in regards to the hidden objects. The objects are well blended into each of the scenes with over 50 per level. Bear in mind, you have to find around 15 items per level on each of your walkthroughs, which will give you good re-playability.

In this game, Crisp App Studios introduces the 360 degree panoramic levels, which are great fun. Unfortunately, there are very few of them which is a bit of a let-down, especially as we have only a few stages to play. Maybe I’m a bit too greedy. Well, even if the standard of hidden objects is still there, I really think we need to have more than 19 stages to play. Personally, I finished the game within 50 minutes. Is it a good Hidden Objects game? To my standards, it is well done. However the length is not what I am used to seeing from the creators.

Great graphics and very easy to play. This game needs more stages without a doubt! Personally, it’s a bit of a let-down compared to what we are used to from this developer.

Blah.... this game is a subpar HOG. There are much better ones available. I am not sure how you define adventure but this doesn't meet my definition of an advenutre either. You simply advance from one HOG scene to the next.

Gameplay

There are no game difficulty modes to choose from.

The hidden object scenes consist of the following: Traditional word lists. Some of these hidden object scenes may require little or no interactions.

The puzzles are fairly easy to solve without having the need to skip any or them.

There are five different achievements that can be unlocked from playing the game. Each of these achievements does come with some requirements that need to be completed before they can be unlocked.

Miscellaneous

Final thoughts: I have found the game enjoyable to a certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game, but not at the game's full price value.

Meh - actually a bit annoying. The title of an object and what that object actually is leaves much to be desired.

I love these kind of hidden object games where there's no 'adventure' just HO scenes all the way through. HO games, particularly these kind, where it's constant searching, need to have very clear images or else it becomes a struggle to find stuff. Play for a while and you can end up with real eye strain. Unfortunately Captain Nemo does not have sharp images nor does Around The World in 80 Days or Time Trap, all in this package. I have played Time Trap on an Android tablet and it was much sharper so it's obvious that they are just a straight ports from the tablet versions. Zooming in just makes the image worse and gives you even worse eye strain. Avoid.

Great game, fully conveys the story. Worth the money, definitely, Captain Nemo is a very fun game.

First off, yes, you can play the game on your Touch Screen. Very compatible with those. PC works as well! So I thought this would be a story about Captain Nemo and the ship. Well... there isn't much story at all. As in there isn't much details about everything and everyone. I can't even tell you what the characters are all about... The game is mostly to show off how great your skills are at these sort of games. So if you like to challenge yourself: there are High Scores!The game also offers panorama view and yes, it has them... on some Hidden Object scenes (Just to be exact: two levels). There are also "Find The Difference" puzzles involved. Designs are pretty and objects don't stand out so you can easily find them. There are no options for modes (aka Easy/Normal/Hard or Casual/Expert), so you play how you want to.So if you just want to look for items with a tid bit of story stuffs, then see for yourself. It is your choice. It certainly entertained me for some time, so thank ya! :) :> =)
