why don't you buy Lenovo vr headset for only $200. You gonna have much immersion playing in VR. Do you rather see T Rex dino on your 65 inch tv or do you want to see life size 30 feet tall dino right in front of you. Thats difference between tv screen and VR.

This game's a VR exclusive.

If you're talking about Psychonauts 2, this isn't it. This is a spinoff taking place in between the two, as originally they were going to just skip over this scene. I believe they're going to release it in early 2019.
Sucks there won't be a non-VR vewrsion of this. Can't do VR. Not just a money thing either. VR makes me sick. Just one more game that looks great that I'll never buy. Really disappointed.

When was the last time you played VR, and what game did you play? I'm genuinely curious, not trying to start an argument or anything.
The last 2 tried were Keep Talking and No One Explodes, and the PayDay 2 VR beta. I got sick after about 20 mins. Some perspective, I can't read in a car without getting sick either. Hell, I can't even look at someone holding a tablet or phone to show me something, throws me off. Sometimes VR can also hurt my eyes if the colors and lighting are too bright. VR is just not for me. Will probably never buy a VR only title.

Huh. That's interesting. I might see Payday causing motion sickness, but not Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Some people just can't stomach VR sometimes.
That's me. Something about it throws off my equilibrium. I get lightheaded and queasy. It feels un-natural for me.

if you get motion sickness just nip into your nearest chemist/pharmacy and buy some travel sickness pills, they do actually seem to work on VR aswell.

What do you mean by "skip over this scene"? Is Psychonauts an adaptation of a comic book series or something?

No, but Tim has said a very small bit about the plot for Psychonauts 2. It's a lot like The Incredibles, actually. The way the "Underminer" shows up at the last second is a way to end the final scene with some implied action... it was never supposed to be a main threat.

Psychonauts 2 was supposed to begin right after the rescue, which probably won't have much to do with the main plot. It's basically non-essential filler as far as the main story goes, which makes it perfect material for a spinoff.
