Can't see anything in game

Hi Double Fine,
When I first launched the game I had the Out of Game Area message, so I recentered the display and was able to start playing. I noticed I didn't have any hands so I exited the game and booted it up again.

This time, I was unable to see anything at all on screen. I wandered around my play space, I reset the view from different angles. Stood up, crouched, crawled on my belly. I even laid down on my back!

So I remembered the most important thing. I rebooted my PC and tried again. I still cannot see a thing when I launch the game. I managed to press "New Game" in the darkness by flailing my arms and pressing the right touchpad, it loaded and I can hear the voiceovers, but I still couldn't see anything.

My drivers are updated by the way, and this is the only game causing issues.

Note on the main menu area, if I shake my head around I can see a slight glow as if the Psychonauts logo is in my peripheral vision, but no matter how much I turn towards it, I can't get it in my view.

16GB DDR3 RAM
EVGA SuperClocked GTX 1080

I hope a fix comes out soon, my instinct tells me something is attached to my head blocking my view. Maybe Raz can fix it!

I am having the same problem too, it started after beating the game once. I tried reistalling the game, and restarting my computer, I hope they fix this bug.

I've been slowly looking through files to find where save data gets stored to delete it, maybe that'll fix.

Ran into this issue. Deleted save game data and that fixed it. (Save game data location is listed in the stickied thread, but it's just in appdata\roaming\psychonautsrhombus...
Last quit the game Right as Nein finished his talk about what the Rhombus of Ruin was.

Is everybody who got this issue using the Vive? If so, please post how many lighthouses you have enabled?

Two base stations - 4 meter by 3 meter area. My "seated" position is the couch facing the TV, my Standing position is the middle facing the couch. (Couch and TV are opposite ends of eachother) - My Play Space's "looking forward" is the couch side to protect the TV when Standing.

Thanks, I didn't think to check my Appdata\Roaming folder. I was removing the Steam Cloud folder for the game instead. I'll try this tonight!

Hi,

There are no hands as you don't technically use them in the game's lore. Everything is controlled through Raz's psychic powers.
