Android Player: Where is Janod?

Basically my only interaction ever with Jandon was to make the cloak. He has never seen me with Adaon, and i just noticed he is missing. So what does this mean for my play through (is there somewhere he might have gone where i can activate the quest line 'A Mad Wizard') and if nothing can be done in this situation what triggered it? so i know for any future play through as i can't find my situation on the wiki.

Update he is back. What is going on? does he disappear at certain times of day or something? As far as i was aware he just sits there all day
