Kalagru

Strongest enemy I encountered so far. Can't beat him as level 22 warrior with best armor and Story difficulty too. Running around and quickload doesn't work because he just regens back some HP.

Beat him 5 minutes ago with my lvl 25 cleric. Had to use like 7 lesser potions of restoration to outheal the damage he dealt and a few mana and health potions. At times it was 150 dmg per hit! You also need a lot of spirit resistance to avoid stunlocks.

His loot isnt good either for the challenge he is posing.

Congrats! I would assume Cleric is basically the tankiest class for most enemies and might have it easier with spirit resistance? Does the armor with stun immunity work for Cleric too?

Just watched one fight video with Cleric build and it's very good build for him lol. Then I realised I might also make it as level 22 Warrior with quicksave method because perhaps he only regens back half HP only once? Will try again later. Hard mode for Warrior would be interesting to know if it's even possible.

I believe i had 83% stun resist with spirit resistance skill and armor. Pure cleric tanking while hitting him and Grissenda for damage as well.

I guess you will need the strongest healing items and possibly support items as well.

Beat him after many many tries (quickload while his HP is low won't work, but at least half HP). The loot he drops is not bad actually. At least I know the 2h weapon is one of highest DPS with additional Weapon Attributes.

If you are warrior and playing Normal+ then good luck beating him ;)

It may have been patched but I saw someone saying the loot is bad. It's not true.

2h Greatsword is:
10-19 dmg
9 fire dmg
9 speed
4% crit
Slow 1
Vicious 2

Probably highest DPS on display of all weapons. Idk how to calcuate it but higher than Axe of the Minotaur Kings for sure.

By the time you manage to kill Kalagru that sword wont make much of a difference. A lvl 31 boss has to drop something much better for me to not consider it gargabe loot,

I wouldn't mind stronger weapon :) But has to consider The Ark of Lothasan is the very endgame. Their 2h maul potentially is better than that sword in a few cases.

But yeah it's true that Kalagru might be the most powerful superboss in the game. I haven't done Elder Forest yet but doubt there is any worse enemy there.

When i saw that Demon in the forsaken fortress i haulled ass lol when Hirge took 1 hit, she was gone lol
my question is why have a Black Shard drop on it. i mean if you still having finished the Eye of Tol and you find him and were able to beat him by long Range Projectiles (like Arrows or Mage Magic Staff/wand Hits) lol Impressive. but i could see my brother Playing the whole game without completing the eye of tol. usually i try reach the Ark of Lothasan as soon as possible lol

Armor 44 (Giant) making Arrows fumble at close range, but he is a outsider (banishing)

Only way i see him ever being defeated is he gets hooked on a obstruct while using ranged attacks. faster than he regenerates. while Rapidfiring, and spaming your best attacks. while having Adaon along with ya

I will agree with ya its one of the strongest superbosses out there. if not the most powerful

Necromancing the thread: just demolished him as lvl 23 warrior on hard without save scumming, first try. The secret is scrolls of circle of restoration. I tanked (spent a lot of time stun-locked) and hirge was using scrolls of circle on cool down, while I was using lesser restore potions when I could move. My build is pretty maximized, but the real key to it is that I reset my stats after ark and pulled all but the bare minimum out of everything but str (and 4 end). I have 11 natural strength (and +3 from force belt) and body development, so I have 800 health even with the dark whispers necklace equipped (to reduce paralyze duration). Took a while to drop him. I had to back off once for just a second when I dropped below 100.

Also, don't forget to summon an earth elemental. The extra tiny bit of tank can make a difference when it matters most. I was playing as 2H, so no shield, but I honestly think armor doesn't matter here anyway. He hits so hard you might as well be wearing paper.

Tbh I never tried 2H build since fury is stupid op with sword and board. That said, I didn't try my luck with this guy by fighting him head on. In the end it took me a few hours to kill by hitting and running with charge.
