I took step back to do other quests.
You could give large Companies a run for their money on quests and writing.
I got bored of Pillars of Eternity II but i am still playing your game. Even with the dying and having to start over I continue to come back to it.
Love your art work for characters that's so well done. The music I turned it off.
I have been playing RPGs since Ultima 1.
Also your character quests are really well done!
Could have been little more though if say you had three characters in a party and they responded to things.
Thanks for the link! I will use that page when I am stuck.
Pretty amazing game though. Not looking forward to going back to that Storm Castle where you can't save from the Castle to the Dungeon....
Doing most of the game quests and exploring most areas without grinding will take you roughly to level 21, enough to beat the ending, and there's little reason to go beyond 22-23, so there's actually no reason to grind. If you find yourself depending excessively on potions maybe you need to revise your character build, because potions are meant for emergencies, "epic" areas and boss fights, not part of the game "economy".
Of course That Storm Castle is going to make me use a lot of potions!
I did redoo my guy I thought that was very smart of you to put that in.
Now I want to see returning characters meet up again like the Bank Robbing chick.
I am level 21 and I have fought some pretty tough battles.
That Red Dragon kicked MY ### and Zombie Dragon...man!
I have only found six pieces of the Mirror so far too. I still have quests to do.
No way that's BS I am on level 22 and fighting things in Icemist whatever it's called in the sewers that are level 21 and wooping my butt. Also greater Dark Presence thing. And that Zombie Dragon. Those things kill my guy even with all the armor etc. I haven't really grinded in this game and yea you need to go beyond level 22 because you would only have 40 some points which isn't enough to max out skills.
what's the point of having wards if you can't even max them out.

It's a hard battle, but tt doesn't block any essential quest, nor bars you from exploring the world, it is simply an optional challenge.
This happens often in this game. Remember the first goblin firedancer in the mine? Some people grind up to level 6 to beat him, others buy a fire resist potion and equip other resist gear and take him out at level 3-4. The first one may find the game grindy, but it really isn't.
If you are having trouble from getting shards, remember you can get them too from random rumor bosses. Gossip at the inn.
as long as your game doesn't have a time limit I am fine.
I am getting the red keys to open the doors key number 4 was worthless.
I got beat by those damn giant stone things trying to kill their king.
Zombie Dragon is tough.
I am at level 22 and still have quests to do.
Fought some horror psycho Minotar and he gave me no shards.
game is really impressive I am almost at 90 hours!
did anyone beat this game on normal?
