Where do I find 'Ruby'?

Hi everyone. I've been playing this game for a while and having lots of fun. I bought the Android version first a while ago and now playing the PC port. Trying new builds, trying all the different characters and enjoying the world. However, I've come to a part where I need to find 'Ruby'. Not the 'Small Ruby', which are fairly easy to get, but the bigger 'Ruby' version which through all my time playing I have not been able to find. I've found TONS of small gems and easily get the Emerald and Sapphire, but not the 'Ruby'. I'm totally lost and have no way to finish some of these quests without them.

Any ideas? I tried the Fire Drakes but after HOURS of playing, they only seem to drop Small Ruby. The same with the Imps and Fire Dragoons. I have seriously no idea where to find these. Is there a way to create Ruby from Small Ruby or something? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
