I have to agree.
Although I do like that Giants will add the season mod into the game, and you don't have to worry about adjusting it yourself, still, Giants haven't learned anything.
The gameplay will be the same. And they are making it even more dull than before. Take a look at the map on the Collectors edition pack. There are few massive fields, and no small fields at all. I do hope that it won't be the official map, but considering that the video was about american fields, I think it is just that.
Like I said, Giants haven't learned anything and the gameplay will be the same overly simplified, dull sow - pick up -> sell - gameplay.
For example, woodworking could be so much more fun, if they would add only few changes to it.
-Player cut a tree and get a log.
-Log will be brought to saw mill.
-Log will be sawed to boards, and you will get also waste wood, and sawdust. Sawing will cost something. Behind the yard, the waste wood pile will grow as will the sawdust pile. And on the end of the sawing line, pile of boards will form.
Sawing logs will take some time, and they won't bring instant money for player, unless player decide to sell logs for the sawmill.
-Sawdust can be picked up and it can go to gardening center, or you can press firewood from it and then sell it to gardening center or to local market for more money.
-Wastewood is chopped into woodchips and it can be burned into energy, or once again, sold to gardening center as a cover for flowers etc.
-Boards are wet and should be dried first, so they go to warm storage and it takes time to dry them.
-Raw (dried) boards can go to train, gardening center, or house building factory OR
-Boards can be planed to get quality boards. They can be sold for gardening center, or to train or to house building factory, and quality trees like birch etc, can be sold to carpenter for more money.
It would make woodcutting much more versatile and fun, because player can sell raw material as soon as he wants, but also wait for longer and make good quality material out from them to make more money.
But Giants will NEVER do such a thing, because they don't want to do anything which would make this game fun and detailed. Giants are afraid that kids wouldn't know how to play it if they add more detailed work. That's not just my opinion! They said that in their official forums before FS15 was released! They said that they want to keep this game simple so kids would play it (and buy it)
That's something I just don't understand, because most features that add more detailed work to this game are requested by kids! I don't understand why Giants thinks kids are stupid?
That's why they removed even the nice log hand crane from FS17, and didn't add it to FS19. That highlights exactly the problem with Giants. They are making nothing else but a very dull sandbox where not even storage houses will work, and where player can't put in any vehicles, because they're so afraid that kids will have a seizure because they would need to think too much of what door they should open.
To be honest, I think Giants is doing all this on purpose. They know that then kids will be asking for more features, and only reason they buy new game is because kids will keep thinking how this game has "potential". But potential means nothing, because potential is only in your imagination! Every single time someone uses the word potential in a review, it means that there's nothing like that in the game! That word should be understand as a warning sign, instead of thinking it is something good!
Haven't Giants seen what is actually happening around this game? Lots of modding sites have died and some have quit, because with their last game they made modding very specialized and they never managed to provide a proper tool for example for Blender. Then even some modders noticed a moment to monetize modding tutorials, which is killing this game even more quickly!
Giants have made the same mistakes year after year and they are blind and deaf! They've asked money from modding tutorials every single year, which is unbelievable stupid thing to do! Giants is the first company I ever saw who asked money out of modding tutorials! That's how greedy this company is!
Paid modding tutorials have always caused that mod sites have been flooded with broken mods right after new game version have been released, and good mods have been drowned under that rubbish! It have took year or two before the situation have got better but that's not enough because Giants have then announced a new game and the same farce have begun.
Giants is killing this franchise because they're too greedy! Giants haven't learned that to get something, you have to give something.
Giants should finally give modding tutorials for free.
Giants should actively support free tools and provide updated files and update tutorials for them.
Giants should deny that any 3rd party modders can monetize their own modding tutorials in any way.

Lol always wondered what it would look like if Microsoft made a Farming sim, if they did which i doubt they will but if they did that would amazing. Especially seeing how MFS2020 looks and how they did what they did
