Anyone have any solutions to this?
So far, still same issue. I got a reply finally from the devs but it was a general reply sent to everyone saying "we were overwhelmed by the amount of feedback" and "we hope your problem has solved itself" yeaaah well it hasn't guys :P
I am getting a new pc soon though so I'll see if that perhaps resolves it.
and client needs to connect via the online browser...
Steam should not be touching your game files where you would be editing the game.xml file. It sounds to me like you are editing the game.xml found in your steam installation files.. (.....steam/steamapps/common/FarmingSimulator2019......)
The game.xml that you want to edit is in MyDocuments/MyGames/FarmingSimulator2019
by messing with the game files, you get the warning it can cause MP to not work. (Rarely have I found this to be true.. but depends on what you are messing with)
Nevertheless, I since also reinstalled the game entirely but the problem persists...
Still keeps disconnecting.
I have noted that the disconnects are more frequent in the evenings.
My guess is that is when the central server are most busy :/
We tried every matchmaking server in both direction (me hosting & her hosting), yet EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. before we can even set up a farm and both join it, the non-host gets disconnected.
Disgusting.
Could you please help us identify the issue?
First run Farming Simulator 19 and reproduce the problem or the bug.
Please send the DxDiag.text and the log.txt files in attachment with a description of the problem to: support@focus-home.com
Please put the link of this conversation in the email.
Provide a DirectX Diagnostic Report (DxDiag.txt file):
1. Press the Windows and R keys from the keyboard to open the Run dialog box and type: DXDIAG
2. Click OK.
3. Click on the Save All Information... button.
4. Save the DxDiag.txt file and close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
Provide the game log (log.txt file):
1. Open Windows Explorer or File Explorer from the taskbar.
2. Navigate to Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2019.
Maybe it would be helpful if you could try Camille's steps, too?
Hi Camille,
My new pc being delayed, I decided to give your steps a go anyway. Here's the files you asked for: https://generaljeno.stackstorage.com/s/D3d6t8Ke83tjBHO
