G29 not working

my g29 will not be registered by the game.. even with the new 1.1.3 update. is there anyone that knows how to fix it?

Could you please download the latest Logitech Gaming Software before starting the game:

Restart PC, start your game and click on "reset all" in the controls menu. This should hopefully fix most if not all issues on your device.

thanks! but its still not working.. now its detecting a gamepad. not a steering wheel so its not letting me steer or give gas with the padels

now i remove al bindings from steam. so its a fresh wheel for steam. startet the game again and it is not detecting anything.

Sorry to hear it.

Please could you try to:
- Please remove all other devices than the wheel (Except mouse and keyboard)
- Do a reset all. You should have the default mapping.
- Could you check that the wheel manager is up to date.
- Could you check that the wheel is set in a default profile in the wheel manager?
- In the settings options in steam, in controlers settings, please unmark the configuration support generic gamepads.

I did your checklist. I did it step by step and when i unmarked the support generic gamepads it worked. I checked in game after every step. So im pretty sure the problem was the gamepads support. Thanks again for your help!
