"Buy Farming Simulator Here" Why does this pop up even though I bought the game on steam.

Around every 20 mins when i'm playing. A pop up will show and say, "Buy Farming Simulator Here". Then it will open my google chrome and take me to Giant's website. Does anyone know how to disable that. It's really starting to get at me...

You bought it from steam or just got a steam key? Or better yet how much did you pay for the game?

what was paid isn't relevant. There isn't different levels of ownership. They own the game on steam (can clearly see the mouse beside there name) so there is no excuse for this to happen. Also there are others having the same issue.

I bought the game on the steam store. A day before the game unlocked, and preloaded the game one hour before it unlocked. I might just reinstall it...

This just started happening to me too, just since the hotfix. I've played for hours before the hotfix, and no pop ups. This also happened early on to me in FS17 , pretty sad that its cropped up again... nice one giants.

The hotfix also broke my sound (7.1 Headphones). But what can ya do...

since the hotfix the popup window keeps coming back.

but only in the singleplayer in multiplayer everything works

It looks like this has something to do with the reshade profile i was using. ever since i removed it the popup is gone. It sucks cause the game looked so much better with it.

I removed my reshade mod as well (before the popup), but I don't seem to get it anymore. Though I haven't played longer than 2 hours in a session. I played a 5 hour session last time.
