How to setup your controller/steering wheel for FS 19
Hello all,
Here is topic for everyone who needs help seting up steering wheel for your game. Keep in mind there is few bugs you need to watch out in order to use your wheel as you did in FS 17.

First things is that this apply for ANY wheel out there not just specific one. I am using my G25 and for first 2 hours I was strugling to set it up and keep in that order.

Step by step how to do it.
1.) Open FS 19 and go to options
2.) On first page make sure that Gamepad/Steering Wheel is set to ON
3.) Go to last page of your settings where you setup deadzones and make sure that Axis 1 Deadzone is set to 0% leave rest on 14%
4.) Go back to middle page and adjust controlls as you want (to change between keyobard and controller press X)
5.) After adjusting all settings as you wish save them and DO NOT LEAVE THE GAME
6.) Start Carrer and fire up map of your choice
7.) Press ESC and save your game

By doing this you are saving all settings for controller and your game if you don't save your game it won't remember key bindings in your game (I warned you).

If you are using Logitech G25/G27/G29 and your wheel is stiff follow next steps
1.) Open Logitech Gaming Software (Logitech Profiler)
2.) Go to Options->Global Device Settings and leave page open
3.) Fire up FS 17 or any other game that supports steering wheel
4.) Once game is loaded ALT+TAB out of game and go back to your Logitech Profiler
5.) On Global Device Settings page verify that your settings are correct and press OK
6.) Your wheel should be easy to turn and leave game you were playing and fire up FS 19.

Make sure that report combined pedals is check or you won't be able to setup Acceleration and Break options in the game.

Thank you for this, but do you know if there is a way to make the wheels stay turned when stationary when using a gamepad, and straighten out when you start driving (just like when using a keyboard)?

I think what you can do is in your profiler you can set centering spring force down to 0 but it will not automatically go back to center. You will need to find settings that works best for you

Not sure if you are going to be able to help me. I have got a logitec G27 steering wheel and cant for the life of me connect it to FS19. I have seen numerous videos on youtube, but these al show when you go into the options on FS that the wheel is selectable on the last page of options ( DEVICE heading I think) this doesn't happen with me. I have got logitecs profiler up and the wheels is responsive but I cant get it to show anything else in devices other than mouse.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

So you can go to Options-Devices and first thing should be mouse and you can use X on your keyboard to switch devices. If G27 is connected and registered it should automatically switch to it and you can adjust settings from there

Hey this thread is kinda old but i consider buying Logitech Farm Wheel with Side Panel but i saw on youtube that deadzone kinda suck, turning wheel worked after like almost 5 cm turn wheel left or right. I'm wondering, can it be changed to working like after i'm turning a wheel it works in real time? That's something that really turns me off and i don't want to give money for something to have feeling like this in default settings. (Sorry for my English)

Well you need to adjust deadzone when you plug your wheel and open the game. If I am not wrong default deadzone dor steering is set o 14% and I change it to 0% and it works just fine
