Ps4 controller....

I'm wondering if any anyone has had any problems with using a controller in fs19, I bought it for my son and he's used a ps4 controller in fs17 (giants version not steam) steam picks up the controller and he can use the controller to navigate steam and start the game and x works to skip the video at the start, but then only the mouse and keyboard works? I've tried restarting the game, steam, the pc and tried a different controller and it's still the same.
I don't have another game to try it on steam unfortunately
Any help would be appreciated

You have to enable controllers in the settings before the game "see" any controllers..

i hooked my ps4 controller up to my pc and it reads it through steam but when i enter fs19 i cant get it to work. how do i fix this issue.

Have you enabled controllers in the settings?
