Strautmann Zelon CFS 2501 DO Grass / Hay selection bug.
Using the Strautmann to collect grass and hay.

It was fine until there was both grass and hay on the field.

Now, every time it drives over the opposite resource - the % loaded goes to zero, and the loader starts loading the other type.

So if the loader has grass and it drives over hay. The grass goes to zero, the loader grass graphic disappears, and the loader begins loading hay instead.

UNTIL, the loader finds grass, sets the hay amount to zero - the hay graphic disappears and the loader starts loading grass.

The only mods I have loaded are the GIANTS mods, from the title screen mods section.

No third party mods installed.

The Strautmann is the vanilla loader that comes unmodded, with the game, though I can't say whether any dependencies has been altered by the GIANTS mods.

Thanks for your time.

The problem is with the game. It's not caused by any mod.

I don't believe there is anything you can do to prevent it from behaving this way, aside from being careful to avoid picking up a different material than what is currently in the loading wagon.

A similar, but different, problem occurs with front loader buckets (shovels) if you pick up certain different materials than what is already in the bucket. Results can be inconsistent.

I believe this strangeness is a direct result of the anti-cheat (for lack of a better term) that Giants implemented into FS19. In FS17 people used to cheat with balers -- they would pick up lots of cheap straw until the baler was almost full, then they would pick up just a little bit of grass to finish the bale, and it would transform into a complete 100% grass bale (no straw). People would then wrap these "cheater bales" and end up with a complete silage bale, which is worth much more, and can also be used to make TMR.

Giants definitely changed the game's behavior in FS19, but now we end up this other weirdness as a consequence. They've been told about this before, but no patch or update has attempted to resolve this, and I doubt they have any intention of revisiting this problem in any future patch.

Hi JPSGT40 :)

Thanks for answering.

If that is the case, then it would not have been difficult to assign some variables that keep track of current load in the loader and not pick up any other type.

Shame then, that it is a common problem, especially since you cannot always see different resource types, mixed together on a field, so you cannot avoid them. I noticed that the other resource type is completely deleted, when you pick up a different one, meaning a massive loss of product. :/

Thanks again, and my best to you.
