Cruise control != AutoDrive mod
Since we still don't know, what exactly is "not working" for the op, we will not be able to solve this. If he want help, he has to describe his issue with a few more words than just "won't work".

So to attempt to actually answer the question, I downloaded AutoDrive 1.1.1.2[farming-simulator.com]. I was able to install and enable the mod fine.
Obviously I have no idea how it works (never used it) but I was able to construct a simple path and some targets, and make the tractor follow it automatically. All parts of the GUI were there and functional. I was not able to automate pickup and delivery for the run, but the driver was active and I got charged for the service. I think that's on me not configuring the targets/load properly.
Looks like a great mod for automation of big farms. It's not my thing, but I can see why people would be into it. It would certainly take care of a lot of mundane work for you.
