Second, some trailers are only good for hauling certain things or being used for certain tasks. Woodchips are generally hauled in standard trailers or forage wagons. They are the "basic tippers", and there are plenty of them in the standard game. Just look under the "trailers" category in the tools section of the shop. Most of the modded trailers are just for different looks or tastes, but you can find some that are fairly cheaper than the standard in game ones. Loading wagons are only used for picking up loose hay, grass, and straw from off the ground if you don't want to put it in bales. You pretty much use them like how you would a baler. Just turn it on, an run over the straw, grass or hay. When it gets full, just transport it to a hay loft or to the straw barn sell point, then tip it like you would a regular tipper trailer.
Third, you cannot sell woodchips at the biomass plant (at least I don't think you can). You can sell manure, slurry and all the different bale types (straw, grass, hay), but you have to buy the plant first, like you would a plot of land. After filling the fill point to capacity, you then get paid at midnight the same day for a set price for the materials. If you want to sell lumber and woodchips, take them to the sawmill sell points. There will be a marked area for logs that you can drive your trailer up to and sell the trailerload all at once. The woodchip point would be a small pile of chips that you have to back up to and dump the load out onto.
I know that some of the things can be a bit confusing at first about this game, but once you play it for a bit, you can learn the different icons. If you need help looking for what means what, look in the "help" section of the pause menu (last tab of the menu that you bring up with the Esc key). You can look through the crops section, and they have all the crop icons for the different crops. Woodchips will look like two or three small square shapes.
Hope I was of some help! If you still have questions, let me know!
I see the "trailers" category now; for some reason I wasn't seeing it earlier. I had to scroll just one item to the left, and I didn't see that. But you got me to look harder! Awesome.
I'll try selling the woodchips at the sawmill. And I see the page in the help now, showing the different crops and their icons.
I also just realized that I forgot to mention what the seed, fertilizer and lime icons look like. Seed looks like a seed bag with a sprout on it, and lime looks like a small rock. Fertilizer has two different icons, though. Solid fertilizer looks like an open bag with a plant leaf on it, while liquid fertilizer looks like a jug with a leaf on it. If you are looking for something to start a farm with, I recommend buying a solid fertilizer trailer that you can also use as a lime spreader. There's one that's made by Bremer (I think?) in the "fertilizer" trailers that you can use for both lime and solid fertilizer.
Herbicide looks like a bottle with an X over it.
Manure and slurry both look like they sound. lol
The trickiest one I've had to constantly double check on would be the cut grass, hay and straw icons. The cut grass icon is the easiest to recognize. It's got three grass blades in the middle of the stack. Hay and straw are a bit more tricky to recognize, though. The hay icon has squiggle lines inside the stack. Straw has Vs inside the stack.
Also, thankfully, if you have a trailer loaded with crop/materials, it not only shows the icon of said materials, but also what kind of materials is in the trailer beside the icon as well.
