Anyone else getting horrible performance?
Sometimes the game runs okay, other times it's nearly unplayable. Same map, same save, no mods, updated drivers, verified game integrity, resintalled game, disabled background apps, disabled steam overlay, ran as administrator. Still getting 30fps on a good day with medium settings, if I put everything as low as possible I get 40-50.

Specs:
I7 3930
16gb ram
GTX 1070 8gb
FS19 installed on a SSD

This is the only game I'm having this problem in, everything else runs great.

The only thing that I have noticed that causes my system to "slow" a bit is if I have a crap load of bales, either in a field or sitting in stacks. I suppose that this could also be applied to objects such as seed/fertlizer containers etc. as well. Do not know if this is the case for you or not, but it was something I have noticed. Also, how is the Temp on your system?

I've started new saves with no tractors, no land, no nothing and still average around 40-50. I don't have any software to monitor temps, but my motherboard shows a constant 40. CPU is water cooled. I checked the performance tab in the task manager, cpu, memory, and gpu load hangs around %20.

the only thing s if your fs19 was downloaded in your c drive and not your d if it was c drive i would reccommened moving it to d drive.

if it is c drive it will slow your pc down alot

Leopard - what you said is an inaccurate(but a common misconception) statement about hard drives. Yes a dedicated game drive is good if you can afford an SSD for the purpose, but at least 85% of game players still use their 'C' boot/drive to store all games, with zero issues and good access speeds.

The game is horribly unoptimized and a player facing into the map center experiences FPS drops of up to 20fps, and sometimes more! This goes for many players. And TBH, I expected soooo much more out of this installment of FS, what a let down. JD, horses and very basic terrain editing doesn’t really cut it for a whole new FS release.

I'll be damned, reinstalled to D drive(same as steam) and now I'm getting 50-60fps max settings with 4 workers going.

What do you use to show fps?

LMAOOOOOOO now all go stick your heads back in the ground cos' of course your all right, LOL

Wheat, If I was you, I would ask myself this - "What is wrong with my boot drive to explain needing to move an application to another drive"

I get 45-60 fps (V-sync on) depending on where I am on the map. I have installed all the mods that you can get from the "ingame" menu. And I have the same graphics card as you.
Specs: amd Fx-8350, 16gb ddr3 ram, 1070 8gb. I use 2 monitors and watch youtube on my 2nd monitor while playing.

I would recomend turning up the graphics settings. This is my settings:

You sound like you're upset because Leopard's advice helped me.

Go to your FS19 folder in "my documents", open game.xml, scroll to the bottom and look for <development>
<controls>false</controls>
</development>
Change "false" to "true" and save. Launch the game and hit F2 to show fps, hit F3 to unlock your fps from the 60fps cap.

What resolution? What scaling?

I get a solid 60fps with vsync locked on an i7 6850k with a 980Ti. That is at 1920x1080 with all settings maxxed, scaling at 100%.

Steam will tell you the framerate for all your games. At the top of Steam click on "Steam" then "Settings", select "In-Game, " on that page you will see "In-game FPS counter" set it how you like.
