Bags, and getting the product in a seeder or planter

Hello fellow farmers, I am not sure what I am doing wrong or if there is a bug. I got the lifter for the bags, purchased bags for seeds, and so on. Took the lift to fill in a seeder. Not going in; then I was able to empty the bag into a trailer. I then dumpted the trailer took a shovel, will not fill the seeder. Not sure what is left. Any thoughts/suggestions?

did you open the cover on the seeder?

Pull your seeder up next to the pallet of seeds and press R.

I think this fellow farmer is talking about the new big bags with the specialtity lifter in the in-game mods. I couldn't get it to work either. (unloading the sacks of seeds or fertiliser).

I opened the seeder and went backward and forward - each time getting the "Refill" message - but hitting "R" did nothing.

Are you using a wheel or controller? I've seen those mess up controls so that it wouldn't work properly.

This happened to me prior to version 1.20 with the Stara (I think) seeder & fertilizer cultivator. Update 1.20 fixed this error. Btw I use mouse and keyboard and an official Xbox 360 controller.

had the same issues last night on MP, the new bags wouldnt unload in a few different seeders. the one time it did, i had to keep jumping in and out of machines juet to hit the refill button ......

I tried it again just now with the new fertiliser and seed bags - doesn't want to work and doesn't show up on the in game menu to "refill". I'm sticking to using the normal "big bags" for now.

That is what I ended up doing.

For the bags you have to lift them up over the open area on the seeder and the seed starts falling out of the bottom of the bag.

Yep this happens when you have a seeder that fertilizes and seeds. Same thing happens when using seed silos or fertalizer silo mods.

idk what the problem would be but i would suggest trying to reinstall the mod or build a little moud so u can lift it higher than the seeder it self because i had the same issue aswell

I am having this problem too. The strange thing is that I have both the Kuhn setups, works fine to fill both containers front and rear, both with the sprayer and the seeder/fertilizer. But I tried two other seeders with separate compartments and it's impossible to fill both on them, I guess they were capable of doing concurrent seeding and fertilizing. At least one of them.
Are you saying a combined seeder/planter/fertilizer with 9000 L capacity can not be filled with 9000 L seeds? Only the 1500 that fits in the seeder? About the same as the Kuhn then. Then you can optionally fill 7500 L fertilizer?
Feels like I tried everything myself, backing up at different angles, trying all buttons and levers, opening and closing hatches, selecting "tool" like a fool.
And btw. I have no mods, only the Anderson DLC.
