Problem with Seasons

I have played FS for a long time. I have always avoided playing with Seasons. However, I have now decided to give it a go....and it is not going well.
I have installed the Seasons mod, and a Geo to go with it. But when I start the map, like, at the very start when you spawn in, it just freezes. I can do NOTHING. Can't move, can't click, can press any key. I have looked through the threads here and 1 suggestion was to remove the Geo. I did this, even tried a different one. Same thing.
I removed the Geo and Seasons completely and the map now works.
So whats my problem? Why won't Seasons work? Or should I say, why won't my map work with Seasons installed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What Map are you trying to use seasons on? Is it seasons compatible?

The Great Plains map (Aviator64). I don't know if its seasons compatible...is there any way to check?

Version 1.1 adds Seasons compatibility and fixes a few bugs. Found the info on FS19.net. Here is the link.

Check you log file for errors. Start a different map with Season and see what happens?

I would recommend starting on one of the vanilla maps (Felsburnn or Revenport) with Season at 6 or 9 days season to get a feel of things. It is not complicated, there are tons of videos on YT. I can't play with out it and precision farming (works well with season and you only need 1 fert state).

you must deselect the geo before you play. only seasons...

..the geo is often only for few maps (see description of the geo mod) and not for all maps. makes failures in throughput by loading the game and stucked because false mod involved.


geo isn´t important and seasons mod all what you need

Thanks Finney. FS19.net is where I get the majority of my mods from. Its where I grabbed the map, soooo...obviously I have some other issue. Checked the log file...there is no error, that I can see (man, that file is LONG lol) relating to Seasons or the GEO.
Tried it with 2 other maps that I do know are Seasons compatible, and same thing happened with them.
I had no trouble with Seasons when I was playing on FSN.

Flashblaster, I have tried the maps with just Seasons and no Geo installed....same problem.

Both Felsbrunn and Ravenport also freeze on spawning. Perhaps it is a mod conflict? Are there any mods that are known to have compatibility issues with Seasons? I may have one of them installed.

i know this bug. Start map with all mods except seasons, then save, quit and load game with seasons on. To avoid conflicts seasons need to be load separatly from other mods because it recalculate fields at first start.

I tried this with a couple maps (Ravenport and Felsbrunn). I started without Seasons but all other mods on including GPS, Courseplay, TimeScale, and a couple others along with a bunch of equipment mods. Saved, quit, and restarted. Then I turned on Seasons. It asked if I wanted to reset growth and then it just sat at the loading screen. I let one for about a half hour and nothing. Anybody heard of this?

This mod is garbage. An entire field of wheat withered but i had a window to replant, so i did and the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing withered again. I don't know wtf with that bs but whoever decided "your ♥♥♥♥ is gonna wither no matter what so ,|,," was an idiot.
