try the "dynasty" series.
That game isn't multiplayer, correct? Actually there are a few mods that already exist that I believe are a step in the right direction towards what I am looking for... maybe some of these will be of use to you.
There are probably some others as well I haven't found. Think the only thing really missing is maybe some water cans, a way to sow seeds by hand and more primitive vehicles. Don't underestimate the power of mods my good sir! :D
mods are authors preference and users of course. im not saying that you cant add stuff to the game or even have a map designed, third party, The game itself and the giants developer have shown zero inference they are going backwards in time for this series.
the topic is about the vanilla game farming simulator 20xx going to 1800's themed farming... im sorry but the next game or the next after that wont be farming simulator 2022-1800. turning any farm sim game into an older theme with equipment and maps has been a part of the whole mod scene since the game came out
didnt read the op as asking for mods to simulate an old time experience.
but the list given is pretty sweet ill agree with that.
Here is a documentary about Muckross Traditional farm in Ireland. They do pretty much everything the "old fashioned" way. If the farming simulator system was expanded quite a bit for utilizing every element of a farm.
