Obviously i have a lot of time in dota, ive been under the impression that most people play competative games. And i struggle to find the point behind this one? So i was asking out of curiosity.
The fact that your second most played game is Stardew Valley with over 400 hours makes me think this is a troll thread.
:D Guys!!! I honestly want to know what the apeal is to you as an individual, I loved stardew valley!
So, I'm too interested to hear more from those with thousands of hours. How do you spend your time? Do you have a way to own and exploit a whole map? Or maybe it's more a multiplayer thing?
But I like these type of games for the nostalgia, since my family farmed when I was younger, & I worked on other farms also. So it reminds me of those times.
Plus, now I can own & operate machinery that was not even available back then, & which likely be way too expensive for me to purchase these days, even if I had a farm to work. I also like to modify the various farms & fields to suit my own needs. I like more open maps that allow me to decide where I want to set various things up, or to place the fields. Maps such as No Man's Land or New Lands, are handy since I can open up the land, then bust the sod to place my fields as I desire. I try to build according to the landscape, following the lands contours to place things as I can.
As to El Poto's question about spending time... I actually run most of my game at the slowest settings (real time), & only use faster times when I have all jobs done or want to skip ahead just a little bit. But I personally like to do the vast majority of operations on my own, & rarely use helpers for such things as harvesting fields, which I then can run the transport truck to keep the main harvesters running.
