Can I put a baler behind a harvester?
I saw this in a video out there, so I tried it in the game. although I was able to couple the baler to the harvester, I could not have them turned on at the same time.

You'll have to get a harvester specifically modded to do this.
Normal harvesters don't have a power take-off at the rear, so they can't run any powered equipment there.

hire a helper and follow it

Or use the Follow me mod on a tractor/baler. Or...copy the courseplay course of the combine..and assign it to the tractor/baler. Follow me mod being the simpler of the 2 mods.

Yes, a mod. Or as Virtual Anomaly suggests using.

Yes, install a mod.
Either a modded harvester that can pull *and* power a baler at the rear, or a modded baler that doesn't need a power take-off.
