After validating my files, the tobii 5 is now only working with my EYE GAZE - and it's so slow at turning.... takes about 7-8 seconds to look behind me, and the F12 (recenter) doesn't work anymore. Head tracking doesn't work - it's only eye.
I downloaded the tobi game hud as "Elite dangerous" doesn't have built in settings, but for FS19 that just says that the settings are game controlled... So why can't I change these in game? All I have is a on/off setting. :(
I'm guessing there isn't any, I don't find the head tracker very good for FS19, so for now I've turned it off for that game and just use mouse look. :(
You would think if they were going to support something they would give you the access to settings, or even have a file I can manually edit.
In the mean time, I've been trying to get on with the games implementation of the eye tracker, and I just can't get on with it. The eye gaze keeps throwing me off.
I've managed to get FaceTrackNoIR working though which seems to be a workaround for the settings issue. I just can't seem to get the settings anywhere near that of the Tobii head tracking.
Thanks for the update, would be interested to see what GIANTS say about it. I found the gaze off putting too, when I look at the map, or the speedo it moves. found that an issue with Euro Truck Sim 2 as well.
Hmm FaceTrackNoIR - might have a look into this, you have that working with the tobii head tracker? Any pointers on setup?
Yes, FTNIR works with the Tobii Eye Tracker, it just takes some configuration. I would maybe try watching this video from Wombat Trucker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoIhAoyvjsw
Thanks :)
There's just very little support for it and in my time owning it no new titles where added
