FDR Logging

Any1 here use FDR Logging Mods? Some of their mods I can't get to work in Single-player. R those mods designed for use only on their maps and/or only with joysticks/pedals? I am on PC.

You need to use their controller mod. I forgot the name but it adds their own key bindings to the settings screen

You don’t need joystick to use it but you need to have that mod.

its called fdr input bindings and if you go to fdr.com and download all mods it will be in there

Ohhh...I saw that mod in my List but thought those were the joystick/pedal inputs. Thnx guys. I'll give that a try.

I clicked the FDR Input mod in my list but still no movement options for arms/attachments. I can crank up the buncher and move it but cannot attach to the buncher head nor have any swing movements on the buncher's arm. Am I still missing something?

You need to configure the key bindings in settings. Scroll down to the fdr bindings under controls.

Watch his video how to setup joysticks. Instead of applying the key binds to joysticks You can apply the bindings to you mouse and keyboard or what ever other controller.

Ok, I got the Cat Skidder front blade to work. That was good. Now, I think it is machinery I am not that familiar with. I have the tracked JD buncher?? with the feller?? head. Is that what they are called? I can drive the JD forward and back, open and close the cutting head ,turn on/off the cutter,raise and lower the boom?? But cannot turn the ....whatever you call the green part of the JD. Did I perhaps just use some bad keys for binding?

I've watched the FDR video where he programs his keyboard. Just to try it out, I did as he did and keyed D and A for cab right and left. This is on the JD 735 j, I believe it was. I was on keyboard side of page, saved it,exited out to machine...hit D and A...cab did not move right or left. Let me go back and watch his full video. Perhaps the 735 doesn't rotate? Or is it cuz D and A are already used for movement on other things? Shouldn't be that though cuz it worked for him, right?

A & D are used for other commands............... Like turning left and right.
Use something else.... A button u do't normally use and see if that works. if it doesn't. Then you are prob fudged.

Make sure you are setting the key bindings for the fdr items.

Now we r getting somewhere. I've got the JD working with the Feller Head and the JD Tracked working with the Directional Head. very much appreciated all of u. Thnx
