Wage Payment without Helpers?

Hi,

So I've only been playing a few days. I'm not 100% on how things work just yet, but I have a question about Wage Payments and Helpers.

I was on my way back from selling some Wheat. When I arrived back at my Farm I noticed a message popped up saying a wage payment has been made for £353. Or something close to this amount. I'm certain I didn't have an active helpers. Why was this payment made? I've done a search online and found one post saying its to pay for certain buildings on the farm? In the settings I've turned off helpers refilling equipment.

Any replies would be great. Thanks!

Helpers are paid real-time while they're working, and there's an end-of-day notification that tells you the total sum of wages you paid over the whole day. I suspect that's what you got there.

You can always look up your balance sheet in the menu to find out what your income and costs were.
