This has got to be a stupid question but I'm unable to empty a trailer.

So I just started playing the game I got it free on Epic Games. So I did the tutorial up until the part where you have to sell the crop. I don't get any indicator for emptying the trailer at home or for selling. There must be something I'm missing but I don't know what it could be. I've played the game before I had to redo the tutorial when I came across the problem emptying the trailer at the home silo. I pushed U to try all sides of the trailer I can empty the trailer on the ground but not on the grate at the silo or where you sell the crops., I'm not sure why I can use ctrl I before driving onto the grate. I even tried starting the emptying before the grate and rive on to but it won't let the grain go in the silo. It's almost like the grain I got from the harvester isn't a grain but is waste which seems impossible because the waste comes out the back right? What in the world could I be missing?

I think the most likely cause is the contents of the trailer cant be stored/sold in the particular place you want to - for example: the hayloft cant accept grains etc.

I would look at the minimap. It is possible one of the grain dropoff locations is flashing. If so, I would head there, then drop off at that location. Maybe they want you to visit a selling point. To sell grains, you need to visit a sell point. To store grains, then put them into your own silo. If it's not allowing you to put grains into your own silo, then it's likely they want you to visit a sell point.

This is pretty much it. I remember when I first started playing I was told to sell my harvest, but at the time I didn't realize the game had a set marker for me to travel to to dump it off. I tried to sell it all at the Restaurant because it had the highest profit margin available at the time but it refused to allow me to sell it because of that little tidbit. I also didn't know that "I" is the button to press to dump the trailer.
