The animal pens in the shop menu isn't working

Yeah some additional informations such as what map you are playing on and what animal pen you are trying to buy/place/add would be useful. Are the animal pens part of the map, are they the vanilla ones that come with the game, we really need more info here.

im in ravenport and the pen im looking for is litteraly in the desc

Well if you are playing the vanilla ravenport map and using the vanilla game pens then that should work. The question now is do you own the land you are trying to place the animal pens onto, and have you teraformed (Flattened the land) for the pens to be placed upon? Unless you use a mod like Place Anywhere or the equivilant built into Global Company, then buying and placing objects in the vanilla game on the vanilla maps can be very infuriating.

Remove the Placeable Factories Pack mod

Yep was just going to add this, if you have the recently released Placeable Factories mod by Shaba and are not playing on either the Old Farm Countryside or La Coronella maps, then you need to remove it, as it changes the animal system, so maps not made to support it will have issues where the Animal Menu and Animal Store Category will not work correctly.

mine says there is to many animal pens please sell some but when i go over to the animal dealer it says no animal barns bought

Hello,

This is due to the map already being maxed out for animal pen placements. Each map has a set number of item slots for different things. On the map you are playing on the total number of pens is already placed.

The way around this is to either purchase a plot of land with the desired animal type and then work that place.

OR

Buy any location, sell the animal pen from that plot if allowed. Then sell the plot and build on the location you wish to build the animal pen of the type you want.
