If so I have never seen one in real life, but it could be. There is a milling machine in the hame. Its for creating cow food.
What’s a good way of gathering up silage in the bunker ? I had a real hard time with the forage trailer ( I think that’s what it’s called). I used the leveler...not easy to use. Made things worse I think for the trailer.
I’m testing this all out on another saved game to get ready for my primary farm.
I do have to say I thought it was going to be a huge money maker but doesn’t seem like it. Maybe less work than wrapping bales I guess.
Thanks
1. Wheel loader into wagon (effective)
2. The self propelled tmr verti mix vehicle (a little slow but easy)
3. Ropa machine under misc (pricey)
4. Belt system into wagons (nice, afffordable, but have to reposition every so often)
Yeah using the BGA is slow to make money. Thats why I use a ferminting silo. It does the same thing as a BGA but simple and you just put chaff/grass/woodchips/hay/straw and in no time silage. Then I sell it on a modded sellpoint *found all over).
What you think?
Thanks again
Personally I like the BGA. I set up a Krone chopper with a pull behind forage loading trailer (the Krone I use is a mod with trailer hitch option). I also like the modular BGA plant, which allows me to set up the plant any way I desire. I also tend to use the drive through silage bunkers, so that I can drive up & through for all dumping, compacting, & unloading processes. A couple large bunkers will usually keep you busy. Once you dump the silage into the BGA plant, it does all the rest of the work. Plus, you can dump manure or slurry in the plant also.
You get paid once per day, plus you get digestate as a byproduct. I use this digestate to fertilize my fields or to make dry fertilizer with.
