Sunflower planting/seeding problem

I am trying to plant sunflowers for the first time. Bought a Väderstad planter but can't fill it with sunflower seeds, only fertilizer. Also tried a Lemken planter but it did not even connect on my Fiatagri 180-90DT tractor. What am I doing wrong?

Does it say that it does sunflower? Cause theres seeder and planters, most of them does different crops.

Yes both of these planters have the sunflower icon and I saw the Väderstad in action on youtube. Unfortunately it was a timelapse video about the harvest and nothing about how to get the seeds/plants into the machine.
Or.. could it be that my buying silo on my farm, which says ”everything” still don’t have sunflower seeds?

Well as standard, seeds are seeds and not individual seed types. So if you have to fill up with a specific type, idk what mod youre using.
If it shows up as being able to plant sunflowers, then it should fill up as soon as you get near a seed trigger or pallet.
So if youre unsure if your silo works, try getting a seed pallet and test that as it should work with that.

It might also be necessary to unfold your planter (if possible) and/or manually open the seed tank hatches, first.

Which models are you trying to use, anyway?

Well, I tried with a big bag seeds at the shop and it worked, so my problem is related to the big silo mod I use, 'EG Multi filling station' that does not fill seeds to this Väderstad Tempo V8, only fertilizer. Strange but still, I can buy big bags for this .

Now I will need also a front mounted cultivator and a corn header for my Fortshritt harvester, then we can work sunflowers :)

I did all that, driving in under the silo's outlet pipe first, got the fertilizer filled, driving away a bit, reversing back in under, but no seeds :( This is a normal problem with this silo also with my normal seeder Väderstad Rapid, I mean having to fill fertilizer first, then move out of the trigger area, then back in to fill the seeds.The silo is a mod called 'EG Multi Filling Station' and normally works fine.
For this sunflower business, I have bought a Väderstad Tempo V8 Planter and will also get a Kvaerneland Front Cultivator plus a Corn header for my Fortschritt harvester.
