Issue with Follow Me Mod
Looked around with the search and didn't see anything specifically on what I'm trying to figure out so figured I'd post.

Basically I've been trying out the Follow Me Mod, got the 1.6 version off the Modhub ingame. And it works with most vehicles but two big exceptions I've seen so far that I don't know if it's just something I'm doing or the Mod just doesn't support them. Is that I can't get Tractors or Trucks to Follow the big Beet Harvesters(They are nonmodded) that don't have their own storage capacity and need a chaser. No matter how I position the tractor behind them it just keeps saying it can't find a trail in visual range to lock onto.

Like I said I dunno if the mod just doesn't work with those two vehicles or if there is something I'm missing that will get it to work.

You mean the selfpropelled Ropas and Holmer? Cause those have a built in storage, and quite a big one too. And they work fine here with Follow Me.

EDIT: Unless you mean the Maus, but that's not a harvester, it's just a "pickerupper". It picks up harvested beeds from the floor and conveyers them to a trailer. And this, in fact, does not seem to work with Follow Me.

Yeah I was meaning the Maus 5 and the Terra Felis 3. Apologies for the incorrect terminology I just end up thinking of any machine that picks up the plant from the field as a 'Harvester'.

That is a shame, as I was hoping the mod would let me finally drive one of those vehicles around and use it for harvesting since I play solo.

Like I said the Maus is not a harvester. You won't be able to harvest anything from the field with it. It's for handling mounds of beets after you harvested them with the Panther, Tiger or Terra Dos. So the fact that it doesn't work with Follow Me shouldn't make much difference because it would be of very limited use anyway.

Typicaly you'd put harvested beets at the edge of the field and use the Maus to load them up on a semi trailer for further transport. Check out some videos on YouTube.

Huh wouldn't of realized that at all. I was just assuming it was like the Self Propelled Sugarcane Harvester where it harvested the sugarcane but didn't have a trailer. Kind of wish the game's description of certain vehicles like that was a tad more descriptive since the 'Collects Beets' vs 'Harvest Beets' in the description just isn't enough for my brain to personally connect the dots of "Oh this one can't harvest at all."
Since my brain just kind of ended up associating collecting with harvesting even though they are apparently two different tasks in the game.

Will have to check out those videos.
