"The Platinum Edition will be available as both a standalone product as well as an expansion for current Farming Simulator 19 owners. There will be much more information about the Platinum Edition, CLAAS vehicles, and other Platinum additions in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled."

I want to pre-order it through the website from farming simulator, so I get the bonus material.
Will I be able to play this addon even though I have bought the main game on steam?
Thanks guys.
Yes. It clearly states it works with Steam edition in the description.
Pre ordering on Steam also gets the bonus items.
Considering the Anderson DLC was 12.99 for 13 pieces of equipment ,my guess it is just the 35 new pieces from the Claas brand bundled with the base game and maybe the rest of the DLC too?
The Platinum edition usually comes with a new map as well and sometimes a new crop, sugarcane was added with the Plat edition in 17.
Forage & Baling & 35 Vehicles aren't a seller for me. But again that's just me.
Ya, cause that just isn't enough. Only settle for at least 100 new vehicles, and a map.
Ok, no...go for 200 vehicles and 2 new maps, and a cool new designer pair of sunglasses for your farmer npc. lol
So, I'm waiting for any additional info before I'm making a purchase. Pre-order bonus looks nice, so I hope the info gets here before the pre-order offer expires.
Well, from what I've been reading and hearing, it's not the same, and has caused quite a bit of frustration with some of the better known modders, like bulletbill and oxygendavid. The modders are making progress though, Seasons initial release just came out this week, and apparently ls-modcompany has some factory scripts starting to come out. I don't code or mess with it, so wouldn't know exactly what the details are, but it's very noticeable by reading stuff on the Giants forums that there is something missing or wrong with how the coding works this version. I can also see cross platforming being a problem? Again, not sure personally.
