what is global company?

what does it do? everything i see is either in what looks like german or some wierd version of english that makes no sense. i see this mod and other things for the mod everywhere but since most mods dont include detailed descriptions, alot of the stuff i have no idea what they do, this is one of them. thx

It's a script that other mods can access that allows a little more depth to production facilities, and some other mods. Includes some nice production interfaces where you can manage them better.

so its mainly for mod makers, not an actual player mod like seasons or soilmod in fs15, (miss that mod)

As far as I know, the global mod you see on mod hub is a required player mod if you want to use any mod with the global tag.

Caution: Some mods ("Not All") using a different script may create a conflict with Global Mods Scripts. Need to down load FS19_GlobalCompany.zip and then any Global Company Mods you want to use.

Global Company has been updated several times and many GS mods will not work with versions they were not made for. It seems every time GC gets updated the mods need to be updated too. Like you said there isn't much info given with the mods as to which version of GC they were made for or which version of GC they will work with. Also some maps have been made for a specific version of GC.
