Cant open silo cover at silo bunker
Hi guys, its bug or i do something wrong?
When silo is done, i can open coverage of silo pile just at the both ends of pile. When im done loading all opened part of silo - all other silo left in bunker have no option to uncover and not accessible.
Its bug or i dont know how to do?

Silo bunkers for silage only open at the ends, once you start to dig into it, the cover recedes further

I'm having a similar problem. Is your clamp silo very close to a territory border? Mine is, and I suspect that might be an issue.

(edit: further info)

I have attempted to use both a bobcat with a bucket and a loading wagon, and in both cases I can only uncover and pick up the first "segment" of silage from either end of the silo. The covering will not uncover any further.

In my case, i notice there are four single "terrain grids" of what is either silage or bare earth showing near the four corners of the remaining covered silage.

I also cannot uncover more than the first bit from either end, and I've already picked that up. I've got a useless bunker full of silage I can't get into.

Same problem here, had a few experiments with the silos though.

The single ones are all bugged, doesnt matter if small, medium or large.

The double ones do work though, at least during my testing i was able to properly uncover everything and also pick up everything inside.

Further use, same game and server:
I fixed the stuck silo(default at biogas) with a bit of messing around with a silage fork that already had silage on it brought from the other silo. Don't get in this situation, always uncover the whole bunker first, before the stuck cover happens. Force open the remaining cover by using a silage fork on the silage very near to the cover edge. It will activate and draw back.

Tools that work the best:
1. Front end loader with silage fork and double wheeled. It can climb like a mountain goat and tap the forks exactly where you need it. Keep a little silage on the forks for quick activation.
2. The Mixed ration mixing wagon vehicle. It does not climb very well but if you have a shallow silage stack just made for animals, then it'll work fine. It has worked the fastest of all vehicles I've tried. draw in a little silage and the next bit of tarp will pop, move up and do it again.

yes, i found that already that need to uncover all cover first, and simple front loader with bucket works too for uncovering.

Hello All,

We are aware of the silo issues and are working on fixes.

Could you help us make sure that it is well fixed?

Please send your savegame with the issue to bugreport@focus-home.com with the following elements:
- A description of the problem
- The savegame
- A link to this conversation

Provide the save game (e.g., savegame1 folder, savegame2 folder...):

1. Open Windows Explorer or File Explorer from the taskbar.
2. Open Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2019.
3. Right click on the save game folder (e.g., savegame1 folder) > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
4. A zipped file containing the save game will be created.

thx for responding, i was sent singleplayer savegame with stuck silo cover, but we play now on dedicated server and have much more troubles than silo which is solveable by opening full coverage before start use silo in bunker. We losing animals from savegames like :) Sometime server restart helps, sometimes client relogin helps, but sometimes only older savegame rollback helps, im mentioned that in my message, we will see..

maybe i am little bit old on this thread but if someone else finds this i'll post my solution. i had the same problem and i managed to uncover the silage with leveler. basically i attached it to my tractor and drove it across the bunker. hope it helps someone ;)

I am so grateful of the answers provided here, I was looking at the tarp and about to scream. nothing was removing the remainder of the tarp. I used the silage fork trick and it worked, I will have to try the leveler idea next time.... :) Happy farming!!

I found a solution. I bought a Holaras Mes 400 for Euro/Dollar 6,800 and I attached to a tractor. So I entered with it in a down position inside the bunker and the cover removed by itself.

This also worked for me. So I changed my leveler Stego 485 with this MES 400 :)

I just use a bucket and near the cover I lightly scrap the top of the silage and it removes a section of plastic. I keep doing that till it's all removed then I use the conveyor belt to empty the silo. It never bugged at first. It worked normally then after the 2nd or 3rd time it suddenly wouldn't open.
