Harvester getting Stuck
I have the New Holland CR.10, and it seems to constantly be getting stuck when I harvest. It seems like the header is being lowered too much, and even the slightest incline causes the front drive wheels to come off the ground, the only way to continue, is to mash V while keeping the blades running, so the header isnt on the ground, but not up and deactive. Almost like making it "float".

I have expirienced this on multiple fields, not just on the edge, where the AI also tends to drive off cliffs they cant get back up. When A hired worker has this happen to them, it eventually says "Helper X is Blocked by an Object", and they quit. Anyone else have this problem, and hopefully a solution.

i have the same issue mate jus have to lift header and move from different angle

I found the problem its on line 98 and it says LowerRotation="20 0 0" which it should say LowerRotation="10 0 0" thats what I put it too and its working fine for me!

LOL, it can't be that simple. Partners reported it, and was told it was known a week ago. So it has to be more difficult to fix than this!

In all honesty, thanks for this! Especially after you share what file it is on.

LOL, it can't be that simple.
I think your right. He just said something randomly relavant. I have been looking for the file, and I cannot find a single line called LowerRotation. There are plenty of "Rotation" lines, but none of them are set to value 20 0 0.

Thank you for clarifying. For some reason, I had searched the correct file, but didnt find the line. Maybe a typo in my search. Let us know if it works! My suggestion is to try fields 14,15,16. I had used those, and they were a huge problem for me. Most of the time when I went uphill, the header could NEVER be lowered all the way. I had to tap V repeatadly to keep the header from dropping to low while still being usable.
Yep had the same problem. I'm assuming it's a bug. I bought the Case 9240 instead. No problems so far.

ok, after some testing i have the 1090 working with helpers on felsbrunn. fields 30 and 31 combined, the setting that mattered was indeed the lower rotation. setting from 20 to 10 was not enough. My final setting is -3 this:

As i changed the first digit of the lower rotation, you could see the header going down less and less. if you run into issues on other fields (dont think you will, as this visually matches more of FS17 height on the field) further negative will raise header. 0 was still sending it to the ground

Ahhh. Thank you for this. How does a game get released when the most basic functions of the game don't work? Plant/Grow/Harvest, Plant/Grow/Harvest, Plant/Grow/Harvest rinse and repeat. Can't harvest ♥♥♥♥ don't work, Ahhh ♥♥♥♥ it release it anyway, we'll just call it horse ride sim 19...

To be fair, it is only one harvestor that has hte problem, but yes I agree. It took me 15 minutes to find the first bug. While minor, the beacons on the Tatra Phoenix dont move with the cab. Simple things like this I feel should have been easily caught, along with no explaination (that I found) of the land purchase system.

I have applied this fix and found that changing the "lowerRotation" value is a fix for this issue, however, the values are going to vary by harvester. The "lowerRotation" value dictates how low the arm goes when lowered, on the harvester I'm using (the Rostselmash 161) I had to use a value of 15 instead of 10 because at 10 the head was too high and wouldn't harvest my crop (soybeans).

And just to add as a side-note, I'm currently harvesting on field number 6, I'm unsure if there are any other fields that may be steeper than this one (I haven't played much of the game) where I would have to adjust it again, but it's all about fine tuning at that point. You'll just have to find a value that works with the machine you're using so that it's low enough to trigger a harvest but high enough to not get stuck.

I've just done this fix to the Rostselmash 161 Harvester and it's worked, was getting stuck on the Felsbrunn Field 10. But they have majorly messed up the ground/tractor relationship on this release, some parts dig in and others miss parts. They need to sack their beta testers, unless they were just ignored.
