Fertilizer?

I'm completely new to FS and I think it's pretty unintuitive for new users. It just throws me in the map when I start a new game. Where can I buy fertilizer? I didn't find a symbol on the map for that.

fertilizer can be bought from the store (default p). The categories at the top, in the shop gui, are by brand, powered vehicles, trailers and other towed items, crates, and placeables. Seed, lime (i believe) and solid fertilizer (the animal feeds will show first) will be the first in the column. Liquid fertilizer and herbicides will be in the second(from top). They do have tutorials that may be beneficial. Feel free to DM me if you need any more help.

You have to buy the sprayer or the spreader for Fertilizer. Hit escape click the basket for the shop and hit the spacebar to visit the shop. Buy the solid or liquid Fertilizer crates from the store and move your machine next to the Fertilizer crates. Make sure you know what type of machine you have so you don't waste money on the wrong type of Fertilizer.

I too am having problems with fertilizer.
Bought the Kunh Axis 40.2 M-EMC-W and it shows the icon for liquid fertilizer in the store.
Bought the only fertilizer available Lizard Fertilizer Tank and the Kuhn will not give option for refilling when it is next to the Lizard Tank . . .
Apparently that spreader only uses solid fertilizer - needed to by the bagged stuff.

It's problem with fillup fertilizer, you can open hatch but option to filling is not avialible

For the Kuhn Axis 40.2 M-EMC-W, that implement takes solid fertilizer which can be found at the store purchase screen under Objects (Crate Icon) > Big Bags > Scroll right until you see the Lizard Solid Fertilizer Big Bag. The Kuhn Axis takes just over 3 bags (recommend buying 3 or fewer bags if you are low on cash).

Also for reference there is a built in help system that explains many of the games mechanics. This will explain many of the games operation.

Do yourself a favor, if you do cattle you can spare yourself the major cost of fertilizer by using this http://www.farmingsimulator19mods.com/hot-produktionen-v1-0-5-fs19/
On top of fertilizer production they also have liquid fertilizer, herbicide and seed production in the pack. Nothing like being self sufficient lol
