Yeah I agree 100%. When people think American farming, most people think hundreds of acres of mass farming like in Texas and Oklahoma. This USA map feels American but not the American style most of us probably wanted.

Ravenport definintely gives off a West Coast Oregon type of feel. Hopefully some of the bigger maps like Rattlesnake Valley can come over to FS19 and we can get some serious farming done.

The main menu screen is actually a pretty good example of what an American farm looks like, so it's weird that they'd make the "American map" an American theme that most people aren't familiar with.

Agreed, they've never gotten any of the American maps correct imo, it always feels like I'm in a different country.

If they would have done anywhere in the central/southern USA it would have been much bettwe imo. Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, ect would have been great.

California/West Coast vibe doesnt do it for me.

I'm with you on the animal placeables. Only thing I've been able to get down without major issue was a chicken coop.

I spent about 30 mins trying to find anywhere on the USA map to plop down a horse area (also tried cows, and pigs for good measure) and the game just does NOT want to let you, and this was the smaller options no less.

Finally got lucky and found a magic spot but that was after buying 7-8 different plots of land and seriously frustrating trial and error. Also the placement of it wasn't remotely ideal, it just happened to be the only spot it would let me throw it down.

They really need to give you some options to level/edit the ground before placing objects. Something like a bulldozer or something to flatten the ground before placing an item.

I can't stand placing a building only to find out that it has a huge mound in front of it, and deforms the terrain so much that it's nearly undrivable.

This. I cannot stand the facts that you either end up with your building in a pit, or up on a plateau. Literally every plot of land in Ravenport is rolling hills that accomodate no sort of animal farming because you cant place the buildings in a way that doesn't look like complete garbage

Agreed. Really hope they fix this or add a way to edit the ground from in-game.
