How to get eggs?

I've bought a chicken coop and filled it with chickens, and filled the trough with wheat. No eggs have been produced yet, however. Does it just take time or do I need to supply something else?

I have the same problem. The game actually registers that the egg area is full but the egg area still appears empty and I can't pick anything up there. It's obviously a bug.

Was just about to make a post about this. I have a chick coop but keep getting warning message about pallet area being full. It is clear with no vehicles anywhere near yet no egg boxes spawn. A bug Im guessing :(

I found that if any tools are anywhere near the box spawning point, the eggs won't spawn. I cleared everything way out and then played with distances for a bit.

Still don't think eggs are worth the effort, though.

Hmm they have the highest price per liter thow. How many liters of eggs are produced per game hour? with how many chickens?

Had the same issue yesterday, this just got fixed today by relaunching the game, I saw one eggs box near the fence and by the time I put it on my Retriever a second box appeared.
Hopefully this issue will not get back later ...

When you say away, like how far away? 20 feet, 50feet, 1,000 feet. 10,000 feet?
