I believe your headset is a 7.1 headset. Sadly, the game only supports Stereo for now.
However, you can try switching your headset to stereo for now by following this steps:
1. Right click on the Speaker icon from the task bar.
2. Click on Open Sound Settings.
3. Click Device properties for the output device.
4. Click Spatial sound tab.
5. Select Off under Spatial sound format.
6. Uncheck Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound and click OK.
This might solve your problem. If not, you'll need to use another audio device for now.
Sorry for the inconveniance.
workaround did not work for me. (no virtual surround sound enabled)
changing system settings to "stereo" just for FS19 is no satisfactory solution. Please fix it! (FS17 worked fine)
This is just a temporary fix, this solution does not fix the game for me, my headset i use (corsair void pro wireless) has a button on software which enables or disables 7.1, i cant even change it through windows as ive tried so this unfortunately doesn't fix the issue for me or others
Did disabling it with the button solve the issue? I'm using a Corsair Vengance headset and had the video/sound issue. I had to change 7.1 to 5.1 in the corsair software for the headset to get it working. There seems to be alot of 7.1 users out there reporting this issue so hopefully they get it patched so we can turn our 7.1 back on permanently.
no i pressed the dolby button to switch to stereo in corsair's iCue and it did nothing for me game still had no sound etc
