Logitech G29 wheel too stiff?
Can anyone help? I have the Logitech software installed and have configured that stuff. I don't know how to get the stiffness out of the wheel. What can I do in-game configuration wise to loosen up the wheel? It would be much appreciated!

As far as I could figure out you can't, game is lacking any form of force feedback setting so the wheel will stay stiff because of bad support or a bug. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
Thank you sir

If you have ETS 2 or ATS just run that quickly, will unlock that stiff feeling

how will running a different game help?

Here's what I've done to fix the stiffness...I went into my Logitech Profiler, set the FF settings to where I wanted them (main ones kept at 100% and the centering spring force to 40%). I closed Logitech Profiler and reopened it (not sure if this step is actually needed). I went to the Devices drop down and went to Game Controllers...Double clicked on my Logitech G27 and that's when the settings took effect. I clicked on the "settings" button on the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel Properties and adjusted all the settings on that page, clicked Close and the settings would update. Not sure why this is the work around, but hey! it worked!!

Copy and paste from another thread. I know you have a G29, but I'm hoping this fix will help you out and others! Have fun!

I have to do this everytime I restart my pc. For some reason it loosens the wheel up for Farm Sim

Can the wheel work without plugging into an outlet?

It should, the power is only for the force feedback to work. As long as it's plugged into the usb port it should still work.

Same problem here, unplayable if the wheel is so stiff. Installing FS17 again, had a workaround on that game wich doesnt work anymore on 19.

Fs17 woraround, start game, go to logitech gamingsoftware, click on the wheel, click on steeringwheel icon, (you get a pop-up) than click OK and it loosens up.

Lets see if i can use FS17 too loosen it up and than start FS19

As stated above, if I open FS17 (for me it opens stiff wheel), alt/tab and open logitech, go to Options/Global Device, click ok (which frees up the wheel), close FS17, and open FS19 i get a free wheel. Haven't tried it with ATS (which always opens with a free wheel for me, SCS, unlike Giants, not lame) but that might be quicker than going through the FS17 routine.
Shameful, Giants, just to sell more of their wheel/panel partnership ?
