Which difficulty level and why?
So I'm thinking about which difficulty level my first playthrough should be. I'm torn between Farm Manager and Start from Scratch. What's everyone else planning to do and why?

I would like start from scratch but the fact you get almost nothing for contracts in that difficulty really puts me off it. In previews you get like 1.5k for 15 minutes work, that is nothing. I am hoping to play Farm Manager and then buy and re-sell vehicles to burn off the 1.2 million you get then work my way up from nothing with the fairer contract prices in that difficulty.

Really? Cause i will literally go out right now and make 1.5k for 15 minutes work and be happy with it...

I might just do easy mode to get a fell for the new features (plus to make sure my wheel is working OK) then head straight into Hard mode and see how quickly i go bust! :D

Good for you but I don't want to grind for 200 hours just to get a few basic vehicles.

Which is great if that's the way you want to play, but you could be 100 hours into the game before you're able to buy your first field and even then have no equipment to work it. If a slow haul pleases you, Start From Scratch sure gives you that opportunity :steamhappy:

Well I am bored with regular start, start from scratch is too grindy, so farm manager for me.
Although prices in that one are mystery for me. I am guessing they will be same like in Normal diff., since new farmer have Easy diff. prices and start from scratch have Hard diff. prices.

Goin for the hardest setting, not a fan of being spoon fed anything in games like this.

Going to go with Farm Manager at first, probably From Scratch on a second farm

Start from scratch for me.
The lower earnings make things more immersive than the unrealistic payouts in the previous games.

I'm just hoping my computer can cope with it, if not to get a refund.

middle, because its the only way to play it.. (for me)
from scratch its just to less of everything to make fun even if you play hundred of hours (for me)

Im completely the same as you OP, I think I might give a quick look with Farm Manager, then once ive had a look around (aprox an hours worth) I´ll ♥♥♥♥♥♥ from scratch.

Multiplayer though I suspect will be mostly Farm Manager for my friend group.

Playthrough? Is there a target, finish or win situation?
