Wood chips?
Can you only turn trunks into wood chips, or us there a way I can chip up these 4 trees I had to cut down on my property? I'm on a PC, btw.

You can turn entire trees into woodchips if you want. Using the small woodchipper is impractical for this, though, because it takes ages cutting the trees into pieces small enough to fit. So you're better off getting the large woodchipper - either as trailer or stationary. That one can theoretically fit whole trees, though you're best off cutting them into 4-6m logs for easier feeding, first. Obviously, you'll also need a vehicle able to feed them into the chipper.

Which pieces of equipment should I look for in the store? I've already cut them up into throwable pieces, so the small would be fine I suppose. The only ones I see in the store say they grind trunks into chips.

there should be a spot on the map where there is a woodcutter where you can sell tree trunks

There are three in the base game:
Jenz HEM 583 Z (small chipper)
Jenz BA 725 D (large chipper)
Jenz HE 700 StA (large, stationary chipper)

They can all turn trees into woodchips. The stationary one also automatically sells them.

You'll also want the fsi powertech ST 65 T, which is a stump grinder to remove the tree stumps left behind so you can plant new trees with the Damcon PL-75 in their place.

Usually one of my first purchases is the Bruks Un grinder/stump remover. This mod is two parts & it attaches to the front of a tractor. It will grind down whole trees & then the stump after that. Its chute throws the wood chips back into a towed wagon (or any nearby wagon).

The Brucks is two parts, with the 2nd part a little upside down "U" shape. It fits over the main part.

I will use this to grind all stumps, & any small trees that are not worth cutting with the Ponsse for logs.
