Turning off train

Im sooo done with the train. Can't that thing be turned off forever? Every time i start the game i have to stop that stupid thing as it is abslutely USELESS!
I want the tracks to be gone and the train itself.

When you are in the game and on the map playing go to the map view and at the top select the monitor next to the tractor. In the upper right corner you can turn the trains off. The tracks on the other hand I can not help you with.

Find a mod map that does not have the train on it. Quite a few mod maps do not use the train, and those that do most make it semi-useful.

The train is not entirely useless, you can take advantage of it to transport seeds, wood logs and other materials from one place to another, especially if it is very far away or if there is a lot of material to transport. In some way it has been useful for those tasks. Try it.

There train seems a lot more useful in 17 than in 19 and I liked that it just stayed parked until you used it. I don't even use the trains in 19

That only stops the train from being cycled when you tab through you vehicles. It DOES NOT stop the train from going around the map endlessly!

Also, there is mod where you can hide objects. It will remove the tracks. Or trees, buildings, fences or other obstacles that make it hard to farm you fields. But the train will still follow the same routes even with no tracks lol. But at least you can drive over them without getting stuck or launching into the air!

Perhaps you can mod the train vehicle to give it a top speed of zero, or something?

Afaik the train only move around when it is empty so just load it with something and then stop it and it will not start moving again.
