Cant tip trailer?

Hey! I have a contract where I'm suposed to deliver wheat to the restaurant, but it just wont let me tip the trailer?

Am I doing something wrong?

It looks like you have chaff in the trailer, not wheat.

oh right it was soybean not wheat, how do I get rid of those then?

also I'm confused, why didnt it harvest the soybean instead of the chaff?

I would try to find a business would buy the chaff and deliver it to them. I've never sold chaff.

Or you could put the chaff in a silo and make silage. I've also never grown soybeans; maybe you used an incorrect kind of harvester? Welcome to the game!

Maybe!? I didn't grow it it was for a contract, ill have to try again

You'll want to use a "harvester" which results in harvested grain, not a "forage harvester" which results in chaff.
Your best bet at this point is to quit the mission, if you have saved the game past the point where you used a forage harvester.
You may want to try a mission or 2 borrowing (not to be confused with leasing) the equipment. They provide harvesting equipment you need for that mission, until you get more familiar with the equipment.

So I started a new game and yup that was the issue! now I have another problem that I dont know how to handle! You can use a baler to make straw bales, use a loading wagon and use the straw for bedding for animals or sell it. if you don't want to spend time doing that you can always use a cultivator or a disc harrow and prepare the field for sowing.

Worth noting you can't collect straw from mission fields (without a mod), you can only collect straw from your own fields. The previous poster was right, you can use a baler or a loading wagon to collect straw. With a baler you'll still need to collect the bales. Also worth mentioning there are 2 types of bales, round & square. The round baler costs less, but there isn't a round bale collector in game, you'll want to get a round bale collector mod if you plan to use round bales. I prefer to use a loading wagon, it requires less time, effort & equipment. Hope this help.

Additionally, the square bales a re generally much easier to handle due to their shape and you don't have to stop every time you want to unload a bale! They are generally easier to stack (in a shed or on a wagon) but this is just my preference so feel free to give both a try and see which you prefer!

In addition with the new free DLC there is the option to make pellets from the straw or hay. This will then give you another income source for your farm. The current Premos rig is mobile & can be pulled through the fields just like a baler, or you can park it in the tier 3 pellet building & then add bales for the Premos to make into pellets.
