Some info
Hello guys im considering to buy FS19 but i was woundering if i get the updates if i buy the regular game not deluxe edition? IT seems it only adds class type of vehicles that dont interest me as much, and i can mod better stuff i guess.

Also was woundering if theres a big map for long term gameplay with Start From Scrach? Thank you.

If you don't want the platinum expansion, you don't have to buy it. The game will update all the same when they come out.

I can't help on the map though, there's a lot out there.

Ty on the response, so basicly the platinum edition is only the class machinery cool, and yeah alot of maps but i found one thats higly recommended its grizzly hills but its too much trees i want to mix forest + farming :D
Tankfriend Mar 25, 2020 @ 1:18pm

Well i took a bit too long to purchase the game and it seems the store i wanted to buy it no longer sells digital copies just box copies and due to Corona being everywhere i cant get a box copy xD
Guess il wait for a sale on steam, thank you so much for all the answers.

Not long ago, it was on sale on Game Billet. (I did buy from there, they're fine) But I don't know if it's on sale still or not. You can keep an eye on it through https://isthereanydeal.com for several services. Most sell Steam keys and are legit sources, except EGS. (in that, they don't sell steam keys lol)

large 16X map, I like is the Pleasant Valley Industries map. PVmods is a heavy modded map series. Dave pushes Farm sim game to its limits, You buy forest, use logs to make boards and resin, you those to build factory, make more products to build different factorys, Mine ore coal stone to make steel and concrete to build more, raise cattle and sell steaks to mcdonalds and applebees, https://pvmods.com/index.php

Holy crap that Pleasant Valley Industries map is like farming simulator mixed with gold digger simulator and a bit of truck simulator cuz you use trucks to deliver stuff cool ty :D

Oh yes, I play with seasons mod so crops dont get harvested every other day, So while they grow I have been digging silt from pond, trucking it to the train silo pickup, loading 6 train cars, taking it to the central station dropping it off, using the river barge to pick up the silt, taking it to the north river port that has the highest buy price, selling it, Also same for the coal and stone mines, Use courseplay to drive and drop off at central station and using barge to take it up north. The PV series are very long term maps. This is an easy way to make money just mining and transport. I just restarted this map wanted the 16x instead of the smaller 4x map, so Second year in seasons after the snow melts I will start building factories and get drywall, steel, concrete going. Dave has a similar style and build factories map for Farming sim 17. Feel free to join pvmods.com and ask questions .

Oh and mix in some satisfactory in there too. I love automation. Do this. Have a peanut field. Have courseplay harvest the field. Courseplay Transfer from the combine to the auger wagon. Then transfer to a semi truck. Have it drop off at a silo, then another truck pickup the peanuts, drop off at planters peanut factory, they get processed into products, one is oil. So have courseplay pickup peanut oil, courseplay drive to sell at McDonald's and others that take peanut oil. 100% automatic (unless courseplay flips the truck)

Courseplay makes things a lot more easy. You don't really need it. But It's like when you hire a helper on a field with the H key. Just a lot better. I pretty much use courseplay and Tardis teleport to cheat and teleport vehicles across map. (Not big on driving) The rest are on site. Besides some modded tractors and trailers. Also in Industries fields are really large. Can a take a stock seeder 2 real time hours to seed a field (Courseplay 😁).

Finaly got into this, there are two Pleasant Valley maps, they both seem the same, can u explain the difference between Pleasant Valley and Pleasant Valley Industries? There are so manny trucks/tractors and other mods i spend 2 hours just checking the mod list lol
Check out no mans land. Available in game mod hub. One small field and a handful of equipment. You design your own fields and farm set up from there. Lots of in map mods included to buy as well. Happy Farming
