How do you store your solid manure ?
On my current map the built-in manure pits for the pigs & cows seem tiny and thus overflow kinda easily, so I've been wondering how other ppl store their excess manure?

I have been looking for some mods to 'fix' this but almost all seem to be focused on slurry and not solid manure, and while I would love a GC supported manure storage mod (with actual visual fill levels like the various bale storage ones) I'm getting desperate enough to avoid having to build a manure mountain that I'll take any kind of storage option.

I would recommend just using a silo mod and edit it to add manure as a one of the fill types.

Start selling it or using it to 'make' other things. Composters, Greenhouses, BGA, etc will all take manure on GC maps. Otherwise there are plenty of silo mods that will accept manure but even here capacity will be an issue.

Selling it or using it for other things are out of the question since I'm allready using it as fertilizer on my fields, it's purely the storage of it during periods of time where I dont need to fertilize. :)

And while I'd really prefer a at least semi-realistic looking storage option, I'll keep the silo option as a backup :)

Okie dokie... sorry for these links, just did a quick search so don't have originals. Maybe one of these two will suffice.

http://www.modhub.us/farming-simulator-2019-mods/manure-tank-v1-0-0-0/

I have not used these so I can't comment on them. Just a quick search.

*not sure if that second link actually stores it though.

Look up a modder on the modhub who is named "Holger Sengstock". He has made a couple of great manure and slurry mods where you can store excess amounts in it. Some mods even allow you to buy or sell it with some placeables.

If you want a non modded way to deal with your poop problem, you could always buy the BGA and sell it to them to get cash. Or you could buy a poop flinger and spread your fields with it for "Au Naturel" fertilizer (that's also free!).

Selling manure to BGA is a bad idea if your daily production of silage is higher than 864000L.
That's because BGA has a processing limit as 10L per second aka. 864000L per day.
Manure shares this limit with silage and have much lower price than silage.

BTW: Slurry however doesn't share that limit with silage/grass/hay/manure. It has its own 860000L per day limit. So no problem sell slurry to BGA.

I did find a manure storage building on the modhoster site which actually looks like a manure pit, while it isnt perfect (unloads thru a auger) its by far the most realistic looking one I've been able to find.

If anyone else is looking :)
